Tight End · Philadelphia Eagles · Age 31 · South Dakota State · TE13 Half-PPR (Season 2026)
Dallas Goedert is ranked TE13 (overall #133) for the Season of the 2026 NFL season in Half-PPR fantasy football by Hayden of The Underdog Football Show. ADP 134.9 — close to consensus.
Goedert won't score 11 TDs again, but he's a fringe TE1 still
Goedert has sat between 3.7 and 4.6 receptions per game in 7-straight seasons, including last year when he went 4-40-0.7 per game. His target rate is consistently that of a fringe TE1 in fantasy. It just comes down to TDs, really. Last year was an outlier season for Goedert's TDs. He had a career-high 11, more than his totals over his previous three seasons. He wasn't ripping off a bunch of long scores, though. The Eagles were using him as a quick-pitch change up to the Tush Push. That caught defenses off guard in 2025, but that won't be the case in 2026. Goedert should be a lot closer to his TE9 expected PPR points ranking this year, rather than his TE5 overall finish in actual PPR points. He stands to benefit from the assumed A.J. Brown trade, though most of that will be offset by 1st-round slot WR Makai Lemon and to a lesser degree 2nd-round slot TE Eli Stowers. To me, the bigger change than the WR shake up will be the new play caller. OC Sean Mannion played in the McVay offense, then coached with LaFleur in Green Bay. There are similarities between this Packers shotgun/explosive pass offense and what we've seen with Jalen Hurts on the Eagles before, just with more imagination (ie. motion). The Packers sprung Tucker Kraft and Luke Musgrave open often, even if neither were high volume receivers. There's a chance the Eagles pass the ball slightly more, even if the feel of the offense feels about the same. Goedert should feel the same in 2026 on the whole; a fringe TE1 who will look like a TE2/3 whenever he's not in the end zone. There were signs of a decline in his game last year, especially as a blocker, and he now heads into his age-31 season. There is no longer a big ceiling to chase.
