Adams is the most boom-bust WR3 of 2026
Adams had the most ridiculous red zone WR season of 2025. He led with 0.76 touchdowns per game inside the 20-yard line on a 27% target share. Only Amon-Ra St. Brown and Drake London came close to matching. Adams was their 1-on-1 answer last season when things got tight, but will that continue in his age-33 season? If it doesn't, then what? According to Underdog Rankings' Advanced Stats page, Adams had an 18% target share with a 0% screen rate outside of the red zone. His average depth of target was 15.6 yards downfield, so his production ended up being very volatile. It'd be a surprise if that turned around now. Adams is also dealing with recurring soft-tissue injuries, and his QB could fall off at any point with his own history of back problems. There's obvious risk with Adams in 2025, which is why Underdog's yardage projection is 799.5 yards. He's gone lower than that in 1-of-9 recent seasons. Last year. All of this does not mean Adams is a full fade in fantasy football. The upside is tantalizing. He just was Half PPR's WR9 on WR5 usage last season, and if something ever happened to Puka Nacua, then Adams could return to fantasy WR1 status for as long as he can handle it. The Rams are 1st in projected points according to the betting markets.
