Wide Receiver · New York Jets · Age 25 · Ohio State · WR18 Half-PPR (Season 2026)
Garrett Wilson is ranked WR18 (overall #38) for the Season of the 2026 NFL season in Half-PPR fantasy football by Hayden of The Underdog Football Show. ADP 39.7 — close to consensus.
Wilson projects as a WR2 despite FUD of (overrated) new target comp
It's never easy for Wilson to score fantasy points. It comes with the territory as a Jet. 2026 is likely to be no different with Geno Smith aging, OC Frank Reich coming off 3-straight incomplete seasons as a coach, and with multiple 1st-round picks spent on pass catchers this offseason. The Jets are currently projected for the No. 31 scoring offense per the betting markets. Since Wilson's been in the NFL, the Jets have been 31st in scoring, 31st in EPA per dropback, and 29th in passing yards per game. Hopefully it's not more of the same. And still, Wilson is so good that he's hard to fully fade. His explosiveness and acrobatics are top tier on film, and even in these disastrous environments, Wilson has been PPR's WR16 on WR11 usage over the past two seasons. It'll be difficult for him to clear that range, but I'd be surprised if Adonai Mitchell, Omar Cooper Jr., and Kenyon Sadiq live up to their expectations to the point it negatively effects Wilson's 27% target share from 2024-25. Wilson is better in full PPR, but projects as a volume-based WR2 in all formats. His ADP sits lower in 2026 (39th overall as the WR18), so he's a buy for me. Underdog projects him for a healthy 1,049.5 receiving yards in the Pick'em lobby.
