Tight End · Cleveland Browns · Age 21 · Bowling Green · TE6 Half-PPR (Season 2026)
Harold Fannin is ranked TE6 (overall #81) for the Season of the 2026 NFL season in Half-PPR fantasy football by Hayden of The Underdog Football Show. Hayden has Harold Fannin ranked 24 spots higher than their Underdog ADP of 105.0, flagging this as a value pick.
Without Njoku, Fannin should beat his rookie-year TE10 finish
Here was the intro to my Fannin scouting report: "This profile feels too good to be true. 120 yards per game (!!!), including massive ones against Penn State (137), Texas A&M (145), and in the bowl game (213). Fannin is an excellent hands catcher at all levels with athleticism to create separation from all alignments. He has "by you" speed on seam routes and won on breaking routes, even as the isolated receiver at times. Bowling Green tossed him 37 receptions behind the line of scrimmage to showcase his yards after the catch ability (34 forced missed tackles), too." All that translated immediately. Fannin has the record for most receiving yards by a rookie TE picked after 34th overall, and it wasn't close. The closest thing we've had to this recently was Sam LaPorta, who is a pretty good comp for him in general. Fannin was half PPR's TE10 on TE8 usage as a rookie on the Browns, who were 31st in points and passing yards per game. He actually was 4th in targets per game (6.6), but the rookie could only manage a weak 42% success rate thanks to horrific QB play from Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel. It clearly wasn't his fault on tape. Fannin broke tackles, settled into zones, was manufactured touches for, and then showed a lot of flexibility in the route. Those QB problems remain with Deshaun Watson as the presumed Week 1 starter, and the Browns' No. 30 projected points ranking from the betting markets reflect the pessimism. Fannin's overall ceiling will be held in check by his QB, his arguably league-worst OL (featuring 5 new starters btw), and a very run-focused new head coach in Todd Monken. Fannin could be the outlier to make it work still, especially with David Njoku leaving. Fannin's snaps should increase with only "Blake Whiteheart" backing him up, and the target competition is only Jerry Jeudy, 1st-round rookie WR KC Concepcion, and 2nd-round rookie WR Denzel Boston. Fannin should hold the low-end TE1 line as a better pick in full PPR redraft than half PPR best ball. It's worth noting HC Todd Monken coached Brock Bowers at Georgia and then spent time with Mark Andrews and Isiah Likely with the Ravens in his most recent stops. I expect Fannin to be a big part of the offense. He projects for 724.5 yards on Underdog right now. Fannin had 731 yards as a 21-year-old last year.
